Studio Policies

REGISTRATION:

Registration for group classes closes 1 hour before the scheduled start time of class. If you wish to register for a class after registration closes, please email the studio. Registration for private classes cannot be made online if it’s less than 24 hours before the desired start time. Please email the studio for scheduling of short notice/same-day private classes. If you do not see your desired time online for a private appointment, please email the studio as additional times are available.

CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS:

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty up to 24 hours in advance of your scheduled time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full amount of the class without exception. The Studio reserves the right to make changes to the group class schedule according to demand.

PREPARE FOR YOUR CLASS:

Arrive a few minutes before class to allow time for changing/set up. Socks are required. We recommend bringing grip socks as regular socks can be slippery on the equipment. Grip socks are also available for purchase at the studio. No outdoor footwear is permitted beyond the entryway/waiting area. 

INSTRUCTORS:

On occasion, there may be a substitute instructor teaching a group class. Often instructor changes are last minute and class attendees will not be notified. Any instructor teaching at Modus will be certified with an appropriate credential, or fully trained and teaching at an apprentice level. Apprentice teachers will only teach up to a level 2 class. Apprentices work under the oversight of a senior instructor. 

PAYMENTS & EXPIRATION:

Payment is due in advance for all services. All single class and package purchases have specific expiration dates, which are listed at time of purchase. Please pay careful attention, as purchases are non-refundable, and non-transferrable. 

HOURS OF OPERATION:

At present, we offer group classes and private training Monday through Saturday, and the opening hours vary depending on the group class schedule and private bookings. We may be closed on any given day in between bookings, thus an appointment is required to visit the studio. If you wish to obtain information about our services, please email us at [email protected]. We do have a phone line, however, as we are teaching during opening hours, all calls will be directed to voicemail. Voicemail messages are checked once per day. The fastest way to reach us is by email. 

REFERRAL BONUS:

If you refer a new client to our studio and they purchase any regular priced group or private package (excluding a la carte), you will receive a $10 credit to your account. Please ensure the new client uses the referral code listed in your account at sign up in order for us to be able to award the credit. Credits are valid for any package or retail purchase, but cannot be cashed out.
