Class Descriptions
Reformer Essentials
(Level 1)
The focus of this class is learning the foundations of Pilates, and how to move on the Reformer. Exercises are beginning level, with progressions offered for those with more experience.
Reformer Full Body Flow
(Level 1.5)
Experience a comprehensive workout that targets every major muscle group. This class combines strength, flexibility, and stability exercises to leave you feeling balanced, toned, and revitalized. Deliberate pace. Suitable for all levels.
Reformer Tone
(Level 2)
Longer sequences to create lean muscle in targeted areas. Incorporates use of small props such as fitness circle, hand weights, and bands to add challenge. Moderate pace.
Reformer Jump
(Level 2)
Get your heart pounding with our cardio interval class using the Pilates jumpboard. Low impact, and great for calorie burning! More leg intensive than other classes, but still a full body workout.
Reformer Energize
(Level 2/2.5)
Start the day with our signature full-body Reformer workout. Moderate pace with just enough challenging moves to leave you feeling accomplished and energized.
Cinq à Sweat
(Level 2.5)
Finish your day with an athletic full-body workout with feel-good choreography. Moderate to fast pace. Introduces some of the exercises from the advanced repertoire.
Reformer Power Up
(Level 3)
A mix of exercises from the intermediate/advanced repertoire with a contemporary twist. Faster-paced with flowing transitions. Core intensive.
Class Levels
Level 1
This level is appropriate for first-timers, or those who prefer a more relaxed pace. To get the most benefit out of your group class experience, it is recommended for newcomers to Reformer Pilates to take at least one level 1 class before progressing into other classes (or a private lesson if time/funds permit).
Level 1.5
A relaxed to moderate pace class that offers more progressions. A good choice for those who are still mastering foundational exercises, but wish to add some challenge.
Level 2
These are moderate-paced classes each offering a different focus. This level incorporates more of the intermediate repertoire and focuses on building strength, endurance and flexibility.
Level 2.5
Similar to level 2, but introduces some level 3 progressions for those who are more experienced and wishing to intensify their movement experience.
Level 3
Faster-paced and more athletic than level 2 classes. Appropriate for strong clients who have progressed through level 2, or who have significant movement experience.
Note
There is an overlap of levels within the classes. For example, someone at a level 1.5 is still welcome to attend a level 2, and a level 2 is welcome to try a level 3.
Modifications and progressions are offered in every class, however the class pace will follow its posted level.
